Korean male group SHINee has been chosen to sing the ending theme song for the new TV drama co-produced by Korean, Japan, and China, "Strangers 6." This news was reported by several Japanese news outlet such as Sankei Sports. According to the Japanese news outlet, SHINee's song is set to be released in December.
According to the head producer of "Strangers 6" Shinya Kawai, SHINee were chosen for their vocal abilities which will help set the drama's mood.
In addition to SHINee, girl group KARA will be in charge of singing a Korean song to be played during the drama episodes. Japanese guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei will be in charge of the opening song for "Strangers 6."
"Strangers 6" is set to make its broadcast debut in the second half of the year and wills tar Oh Jiho and Kim Hyojin. The drama is about the story of 6 people from Korea, China, and Japan, who must come together to protect the three countries' joint economic area from an unknown organization.
