Singapore has seen many K-pop artists this summer, like Kim Hyunjoong, FT Island, Teen Top, The Boss, X-5, U-Kiss, Dal Shabet, and miss A for the Korean Music Wave 2011 concert. Other artists planning to come to Singapore in the next few months include SHINee; 2PM, scheduled to make a stop in Singapore for their Hands Up Asia Tour; and Teen Top forSundown Festival.
K-pop fans in Singapore and surrounding areas can now rejoice even more, as the Mnet Asian Music Awards will be held at Singapore Indoor Stadium on November 29. This marks the second time that Mnet Asian Music Awards will be held outside of Korea; the 2010 awards were held at The Venetian in Macau.
According to the local organizer, fans who are unable to attend the event itself will be able to watch it on television. Singaporean fans can see the event via Channel U (despite having a 2-hour delay in broadcasting), but some networks may have a live broadcast of the event.
Although not all details have been confirmed just yet, such as performers for this year's event or ticket pricing information, those planning to attend the event can expect an official press release soon.
